A view towards Whittington from what was once "The Boot" pub on the triangular plot between Darnford Lane and Lichfield Road.

The occasion appears to be a hunt meeting some time around WW1 (soldier's uniform). The people are unknown, but the photo was amongst papers belonging to the Mann family.
